We worked with a Veteran’s United recommended real estate agent to purchase our home in Hampton, VIrginia. Veteran’s United suggested Ms Mary Peak Mills from Abbitt Realty. Mary Mills and her partner, Terri Ashe, were an exceptional team for us to work with. Mary was alway responsive to our many questions. Since we were traveling from almost 2 hours away to look at homes Mary was able to coordinate for us to view all 10 homes that we wanted to see in one day. With the home that we ended up purchasing; Mary was able to negotiate with the Seller’s Agent just to get us the opportunity to see the house even after multiple offers had been received. Mary shepherded us through the entire home purchasing process in a smooth, efficient manner. Mary also provided us with recommended vendors in the local area for some projects that we want to complete. This was our 2nd home purchasing experience and Ms Mary Peak Mills’ real estate expertise and knowledge, outgoing personality, customer service skills and patience helped to make this home purchasing experience a success for the Johnson family! Becky Sutton was so patient with me and allowed me to view each and every house I brought to her. She did not mind writing up offers back and forth and even though I tried apologizing for a lot of my own indecisiveness she assured me she wanted me to absolutely love my house and even if that meant writing a ton of offers and going to many, many open houses every weekend. She walked through all the houses with me and helped make searching a very fun and exciting time.

Robbin Boone was a GREAT match for us! She was super friendly, outgoing, energetic, and kept sending us ideas when we thought there was nothing else out there for us! When we threw her a curve ball with the house we ended up purchasing she hit it out of the park! Latonia was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful with looking at houses and eventually closing on the house we purchased. OMG. I am so grateful that VU placed Dawn Thomas in my life and my daughter's life. Dawn is amazing. I am grateful for her patience. I know, at times, I may have seemed rude, or more or less urgent. She recognized my urgency and Dawn was not discouraged with my quick turnoffs and turnarounds regarding some properties. Most importantly, Dawn recognizes my family's needs and did not give up.
