Often forgot to reply to emails/texts. Failed to follow up on multiple requests. Ignored me immediately after sale was finalized. Veterans United should avoid using Duston Obermeyer in the future.

He primarily worked for the Buyer. May have spoken with this guy 4 times during the entire process (that should have been a warning) It was a AWFUL EXPERIENCE! My AC Units went out 3 weeks after I moved in, contacted him and minimum effort was given. And he basically said I have to pay for it. I would not recommend Devin to ANY VETERAN EVER!!!!!!!! Now I am stuck for 1000s of Dollars with no advice on what to do. Had 3 AC Repairmen come out and they all said the Units wiring has been rigged to just keep it running. Now what? Veteran Unit was great but you should check back with the Vet to get his experience or offer assist in a situation like this. Just my thoughts

Primarily their realestate agents. Specifically (GG) Geraldine Mckinney. When it came to my closing, all she cared about was her check. She did not have my best interest at heart. She did not try to get anything repaired in the house. She did not try to get any type of a warranty for me and as a result, in less than 6 months of ownership, I have already spent more than $20,000 for repairs and still have an additional $10,000 or so to complete. When I tried to talk to her and Veterans united personnel, none of then gave a care and tried to make things right. She should be dropped from helping any veteran.

Megan Ham is the best real estate agent any home buyer/seller could ask for. Not only did she provide many home options for me to decide from but also worked with my wife and I on a personal level by recommending certain areas to buy in based off how we were used to living and what would be best for my kids schooling. Megan always kept us update with the progress of our house and any time we had questions she was eager to respond and get us the answers we needed. Overall she was a fantastic real estate agent and I would recommend her to any of my friends and family looking to purchase a new home.

VU assigned me Cathy Smith from Homesmart. I loved Cathy so much and have recommended her to everyone I know. I had worked with a few other realtors but wasn’t happy with them and ended up going with Cathy. She’s so knowledgeable on VA loans and was always happy to show me homes throughout the year and a half I worked with her.

Our real estate agent Christian Schleuter went above and beyond for us. We’re so thankful to have him. We can’t say enough great things about him. From meeting him to closing on our house he kept us updated and in the loop with everything. Would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase.
