I was looking to build a home to my personal liking but was given properties that were already being built. I kept recommending builders and asking for areas with new construction but there was clear disconnect. I finally settled on a home that did not have some of the basic features I wanted but it had the specifics I did ask for. He fixed the only real issue I had, which I really appreciate.

Jamal Williams try to take over and didn’t value my opinion about what I wanted or what I was looking for. He basically try to push any home that was available at the time on to us and lie about issues that was wrong with the home when he did the video walk through and we end up losing money ( I don’t think a video walk through is a good way to do business) he also withhold information from us all the time and he doesn’t explain things properly. He also nonchalantly treat us women like we’re not supposed to be in charge of anything, he would talk at me rather than to me or talk to my husband to me even though am sitting right next to my husband. (I took that as a big disrespect and very unprofessional and uncomfortable). Even though he wasn’t all bad when he did have the time he try to get us information but for the most part I don’t like the fact that he would inject himself with the contractors and refuse to give them our contact information. He was trying to control (micro manage) the relationship between us and the contractors which was very frustrating because we needed to speak to them because they’re building our home. And issues that I told him about he didn’t relay to the contractors so we had to pay out of pocket for extra issues with the house because it was too late to make adjustments to the floor plan. I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends and family members to do business with Jamal Williams.
