Don Perrin was able to adapt during the COVID epidemic by providing virtual viewings since we were 900 miles away from the state that we wanted to purchase in. Don, was reachable and kept us informed in the lengthy house buying process. Amazingly, we were able to close a day after our planned closing date due to factors that didnt contribute to anyone at VA United Home Loans. Unfortunately, after purchasing the home we learned that it is heavily infested with roaches from the previous tenet. As the property was advertised having a dish washer, cooktop stove, refrigerator and double ovens (only the double ovens will be replaced by sellers warranty next week), all were/are incubation/nesting grounds for roaches as well as all over counters. Given the unsanitary conditions the kitchen is currently inoperable to utilize for cooking or storing food for possibly another month. Lastly, the pest inspection should include roaches.

I hate to say anything negative about Ed because he did find the absolutely perfect house for us but I prefer strong and consistent communication and Ed was not as communicative as I would have liked! He often did not respond for days when I was waiting to hear from him! Once I learned his personality and communication style and lowered my expectations I felt less stressed about it! He was always very friendly and I felt like he really understood that we were looking for which made it possible for him to find our dream home!

Linda was not a very good Realtor to say the least. All she has provided was an account to view homes on the market. She tweaked the search refinement to our liking and basically let us do the rest. She was not very useful at all. And when we wanted to view a property she never scouted out ahead to get a good layout of the property to ensure it would be to our liking. She was basically viewing the home for the first time as we were. She even convinced my wife to view a property without an appointment. Talked about getting out of the business. That its just "crazy out there". No energy, limited flexibility in setting up viewings.Also during the process she even advised me that maybe looking for a different lender would be more favorable to our closing costs. Seriously, what realtor receiving business from a lender refers them away from the very lender that gave her the business.I can go on and on but at the closing, once everything was concluded. She received her check and was gone before we could say good bye and ty. Left us a home gift. We were kind of embarrassed that our own realtor was gone from the office before we even realize she left.

David Hill was an amazing real estate agent. He was very patient and worked hard throughout the whole process. He was very knowledgeable with real estate industry standards and help create a realistic picture of the home buying process. He was available at all times and moved promptly to find answers to our questions. He helped us with making the best Palio or offers and helped us find homes that would get Va approval. He understood our needs from the start and supported us the whole way through! Thank you David from the Thomas family. We are grateful for you! I would recommend David to any of our friends or family and even coworkers.

My agent Lindsey Lemley was a VU preferred agent and after working with her I see why. We hit it off immediately upon speaking as she is very approachable and good humored. Even when we hit a small snag she did everything needed to get us and the process back on track. Over the course of our working together Lindsey became more like a good friend. Her willingness to listen and help are only surpassed by her dedication to helping her clients reach their dreams of home ownership. I am beyond grateful!

Always answered every question we had. If he did not know the answer he would find out and get back to us. Made sure we found the house that lit up our faces and felt comfortable in. Gives you his personal opinion about things which was very helpful because we were in the market for our first house and did not know a whole lot. Was there for every inspection and we are very happy with the whole experience.

Sandey was so knowledgeable and helpful. She is so experienced and knowledgeable that we could trust that what needed to be would be. She would always be there, got listing that meet our needs, showings fast and bids in quickly. She made sure all that needed to be done was. Couldn't have made it through without her. Made it very pleasant experience.

Chelsea Blackwell and Blackwell Realty was our realtor down at coastal Alabama and they were outstanding.. they went the extra mile and they helped us with everything we needed help with no matter how small or how large. Veterans United didn't outstanding job at hooking us up with the right realtor and the right company to get the job done.

Scott Farrar went above and beyond our expectations. He went out of his way to ensure we ended up in a safe, spacious and beautiful home, that our kids will grow-up in and make plenty of fond memories! While we don’t plan to buy again anytime soon, we know who we’ll be calling when that time arises.

Roseanne was terrific. She helped with the whole process of getting contracts, appraisal, and inspections done in a timely matter. She was always one step ahead of us but if we had any questions, she had the answers. Great person to work with!
