He was young and inexperienced. He had no problem coming to me to ask for concessions or requests from the sellers, but was unwilling to make offers below asking price, or ask for concessions on my behalf, even after the deal was near complete.

We definitely appreciated having a real estate agent recommended to us. That was an aspect of the home buying process that made us uneasy because we wanted to make sure we would get a real estate agent who was right for us. Duston Obermeyer was definitely our man. It is very clear that he loves his job and that he is looking out for his clients in every aspect. We felt understood and fought for because of Duston's work. It was also great to have a fellow Marine veteran to work with. I cannot thank Duston enough for the work that he did to find us our perfect first home.

Karen Walls was great to work with, she listed and sold my condo twice. Not only did she sell my condo but she follow every step of the sale to closing. She found me the perfect home, working with me, the sellers and Verteran United all the way through a smooth closing. Karen has a soft spot in her heart for veterans, treating them as friends more so than clients. I would highly recommend her to any veteran looking for a home in the Detroit market. Only found a new home through Carrington, but I also found a good friend.

Darla was referred to us by VU and I am so glad that she was. We are first time home buyers and buying a home out of state from UT to TX. Darla was our eyes and ears through it all. Noelle was outstanding during all of our walk through's. Noelle did excellent explaining any repairs or damages that would need to be address for the safety inspection.
