Since we had picked out our home, area, and everything we wanted up front with our builder, we never really had a great deal of interaction with our real estate agent. I felt that there could have been better communication between us because there were times I genuinely wasn't sure if there was good exchange of information between my lender and the builder. I took it upon myself to drive that as much as I could. Since both the lender and the builder were doing so awesome in their own rights, it left very little for the agent to do - in my humble opinion.

Shannon started out great but once closing was established we were never offered a walk through which resulted in us signing for our house only to find water stains that were not there when we did inspection in August, when we moved in. Also some agreed upon repairs were not completed and it took over a month to fix them. Others still are not complete. For example we have issues with dishwasher that never were fixed resulting in us not being able to use our dishwasher to this day. Also they couldn’t find keys for back doors, so we were not able to use them for the first month until shannon got a locksmith to fix them.

Roy only cares about himself and what’s best for him. I could write a novel about all the terrible encounters Amanda and I had, but honestly, it would be a huge waste of time. It’s truly a shame a great organization like Veterans United is associated with Roy Cabalo.

Stephanie was an angel! First of all I felt confident that she understood the VA home loan process and wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction. Second, she genuinely wants to see her clients have a happy future in their new homes. She held my hand through the whole thing and was always happy to help. I really couldn't have asked for a better agent.

The realtor Sherry was the most amazing agent ever. She was there for us and she knew all of the right questions to ask and what to look for. She provided information to us that really helped us get though the process. Everyone should have agent like her.
