I don't know why Melanie Pipes didn't like me but I would never recommend her to family or friends. Serious lack of communication that really accelerated after I asked her what I had done. She did good showing me the property via zoom before offer, but during final walk through she hardly let me see anything. Veterans United is 5 star, but their realtor recommendation was like only thing that was not a pleasant experience.

He was very much about himself and closing the deal. My loan officer Derrick was truly more help than my Realtor. My realtor at fist would communicate about once every two weeks. I found every house that I had a showing on to include the one I purchased. My realtor did not follow through with any of the request for repairs that we sent to the seller, nor did he require the seller to stick with and follow through with “licensed” repair Specalist and receipts for said requested repairs. I did all of the leg work as a buyer and knew more details about certain items than he. Additionally, when it came down to the week before closing I began texting him daily asking for the proof of repairs that were in addendum 2 and he said that the “seller lost them” and the realtor for the seller was hard to get in touch with. I do not feel that we should have waited that long and had to close and ultimately accept no repairs being done and no proof. I would not recommend him to anyone outside of the Madison area as that’s where the “money” is as he says. I will gladly elaborate more and provide documents is veterans United needs them.

Kristi is absolutely outstanding. She fought hard to make sure I got what I needed, was always quick and responsive, and always gave me great advice. She knows the area intimately, tracks the market closely, and is constantly engaged. As I mentioned with my Loan Officer, Stephen, I would buy another house tomorrow if it meant I got to work with Kristi again!

Katie is amazing, great people skills and her knowledge went above and beyond in her expertise, even in other areas aside being a real estate agent. She knew how to communicate with every other branch withing the agency. Recommend to anyone looking for a home in the Colorado Springs area.
