We HATED our agent Cindy Barnes with Berkshire Hathaway/ Fox Roach- she hated that I wasn’t a phone person since she was always on the road. She only heard about 20% but what she did hear she took as gospel. Had I known she was not a free service provided by VU (I was told “an agent would be provided for me at no cost) because the seller paid her the 3%. She cost us several extra days because she didn’t know how to do a lot of things - electronic documentation took her forever. We only saw her 3 times. Twice to show us the 6 houses maybe in total we looked at, and at closing. We were easy. We did all the legwork. Once she gave us access to the matrix we looked at everything available and told her we would. Yet she would still send us constant stuff (too late) or would call from her car (which, as mentioned, I hated). I am still waiting for a copy of my HOA agreement. The second time we looked at the house there were 3 copies laying around. But none when we moved in. None from the title company or either realtor. Yet her company proudly sent out a flyer about how SHE sold this house were in. She didn’t even send this one to us, we found it. It just felt like we were pulling teeth the whole way. She was busy, and in our area houses would sell before we could get a chance to see them with our agent. Part of that was an early miscommunication- that was later resolved but remained an issue with someone that lives so far from us.
