As a first time home buyer, my experience was fun and at times very frustrating. Devin did a good job with answering whatever questions I may have had about certain properties and assisted with other issues. However, a number of issues presented that I felt could have been handled better. I felt unprepared for the process as a whole. Knowing up front the rundown of how things flow and when we could ask for things or negotiate would’ve been helpful. The Seller not providing keys at closing and leaving trash in the recycling bin was simply unacceptable and there appeared to be a disconnect between Devin and the seller’s agent when they had a death in the family and things simply broke down. There should have been controls in place to where none of this should have ever happened. Especially when my keys weren’t secured at the time of closing.

There were several timelines that we weren't aware of in a timely manner so we felt rushed when making major decisions (home inspection). We did our final walk through the afternoon before closing day only to discover repairs weren't done, which delayed closing. I would recommend that realtors look at the time lines in which items are due and add a few days in the process to prepare for any unforseen issues. Our realtor however did a great job in advocating for items that needed to be included in escrow.

She was good until after the view then dropped the ball. I had to reach out to her numerous times to get answer on certain things. Then she said she would fix a problem with a leak issue never did it. Now I have to spend extra money to fix it. Would steer friends away from her.

My real estate agent Melanie Gates, turned out to be a blessing in disguise. She is extremely professional, and has the biggest smile you can imagine. She took me by the hand, much like a sister would do, and led me all the way to the finish line. She worked long hours, even weekends, to make sure I was kept in the loop. Thank you so much Melanie. You're the best of the best! I'll miss you!

Russell is the man. He is awesome. I’m so glad he was there with me the whole way. I learned so much. He was always responsive and even though I know he has plenty of other clients, he made me feel as if I was the only person he was dealing with. Not only did I have a great Realtor in Russell but I also made a good friend. I hope I get the opportunity to work with him in the future.

I ended up with 2, the first wasn't very good and left us hanging for a month. I explained what was happening to my veterans team and they got me a new realtor who was exactly what I expected to have. Jill was fantastic and I am very happy the team found her for me within 5 hours of my initial complaint.

Kim has worked very closely with me on securing our house. Its been a fun experience in trying to find the right house and kim was very knowledgable, patient and determined in getting the right house for my family. She is definitely the regal real estate agent for the job. Kim is the best from the rest.

There isn’t a rating high enough for Jennifer. Especially with the purchase of this condo as we live in MI and we were purchasing in NC with home viewing via FaceTime. Highly recommend!

Kathryn was very helpful in our short time frame that we had to find a house and move in. She told us exactly if it was a good neighborhood, or good school and what towns to stick with.
