We started out with Lori as our realtor, we ended up having to find our own home. Being that we were purchasing the home from out of state, we *thought* we would hear from our realtor frequently, to let us know if something came on the market. However, we ended up having to be the ones to constantly contact her asking if there was any homes that were available. Once we found our home, and scheduled a showing, her partner (Terry) actually showed us the home due to her being out on vacation. Ultimately, we ended up putting in an offer on our home, and upon Lori’s return we quickly learned that she was of little to no help. She did not give us advice as far as placing an offer, at one point we felt as if she was trying to get us to accept a counter offer so that she could get her commission, she didn’t go into detail, and explain or over explain anything pertaining to home buying unlike her partner (Terry), if we had a question about something she didn’t have or know the answer. We had to ask if she could find out the answer and get back to us. We read everything before we sign, so we mentioned to her that we wanted to read all documents on closing day before we sign anything, and she seemed to be a bit irritated and let us know that “it’s a book, and we will be in there all day.” We ended up asking her to send us a copy of the documents so that we could read it prior to going in on closing day. Once we got to closing day, she didn’t seem prepared (she came in empty handed & my husband and myself questioned if she even needed to be there- being that she didn’t say anything really. She was texting on her phone majority of the time. Terry did have documents for us to sign, as well as the sellers. He also had helpful information for us, and he engaged in conversation with everyone in the room.We reached out to her partner (Terry) a lot instead of her, because we just felt more comfortable going through the process with him. Terry was ultimately the reason as to why we even purchased our home.

Berkshire Hathaway was a nightmare. Not only did the agent tell me after we did a few showings that they charged a minimum $2000 commission but she also tried to sneak in "transaction fees" at closing. She also kept trying to get me to use their in house lender and not Veterans United. I can't believe she is a "Veterans United Partner Agent". Made my house buying process much more stressful than it needed to be; feeling pulled in different directions and made me unsure of who was really looking out for my best interest.

Sean was top notch! He’s the best and we’re truly grateful that he was our real estate agent. He’s very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He’s honest about homes and did really care of our needs. Sean is the agent that everyone needs especially veterans because he’s absolutely the pro! 10 stars isn’t even enough for his service and expertise, truly remarkable!
