Our real estate agent was probably one of the most frustrating agents I have met. Multiple times she had given incorrect information, changed dates on items due, or said "this has never happened in my 18 years as an agent". That being said, she was available to my requests and made timely responses, but, if I had to do it all over again, I would have picked a different agent.

David Herrera is an absolute pleasure to work with. Beyond knowledgeable! Not just in navigating with the loan officer and their team but home home selection as well concerning what your lender looks for in order to secure your loan. Incredibly resourceful and whether 1 or 20 houses you would like to see, David will be there! Incredible agent and answers even the most trivial questions you may have. If he doesn’t know off hand he will find you the answers.

Charity was awesome! She came out in the rain to show me houses. She helped get me the best deal possible and was completely honest during the searching process. Then to top it off, she sent an awesome housewarming gift. Will recommend her to everyone.

Billy Alt was great to work with and always had our best interest in buyer/seller negotiations. He got us a great deal on our home purchase and I would highly recommend him to other Veterans seeking to buy a home.

Didn't earn his keep. Never showed me a duplex, which was the only property type I asked for. Any listing we physically went out to see were ones I found myself. He told me to hold off on ordering my appraisal which delayed my closing by a week at minimum, and it would have been longer if I didnt take matters into my own hands to hold the sellers accountable for not actually fulfilling their agreed upon repairs in timely manner. Ultimately, I never got the repairs I asked for unless they were required for closing. Additionally, as a new home buyer, I expect the agent receiving a commission to share their home expertise with me and write a good offer that is fair for the price of the home. He didnt do this at all. I ended up putting a 5k above asking offer on home that appraised 40k below asking price. And now that Ive completed my DIY renovation and I've learned, I can now see how many glaringly obvious signs of damage and cheap, band-aid repairs there were that my supposed "agent/guide" did not point out. God bless the appraiser for saving my home price. This agent did not earn his keep whatsoever and Im literally scheduled to earn my Texas Real Estate License by the end of February because this experience has shown me that no one will care about my home purchase more than me and I will never hire an "expert" again. I'll become the expert. Only rating 2 instead of 1 star because he's cool on a personal and conversational level, but from a business point of view, I'm never hiring an agent again.
