Disappointed with Our Realtor ExperienceWhile we're thrilled with the home we chose and are incredibly grateful for the support from the Veterans United team (who were fantastic), our experience with Cheryl, our realtor, left a lot to be desired.From the start, Cheryl was condescending and often spoke to me as if I had never purchased a home—despite this being my third homebuying experience. Any time a concern was brought up, it felt dismissed or brushed off, as if she could never be wrong.What was most disappointing, though, was the lack of transparency about the home’s interior condition. During the final walk-through, the house was filled with smoke odor, and there were multiple pets (4 cats and 2 dogs) inside. It was so bad that we had difficulty breathing. Cheryl had been in the home several times prior but never disclosed this, which we feel was incredibly unprofessional.We absolutely love the house, but we are now stuck spending days scrubbing smoke residue and repainting just to make it livable. This could have easily been shared with us beforehand so we could make a more informed decision or prepare accordingly.To be clear: Cheryl is not affiliated with Veterans United, and our frustration lies solely with her handling of this process—not with the mortgage team, who were outstanding.

His local expertise made a huge difference—he knew the neighborhoods inside and out, guided us through inspections and negotiations confidently, and ultimately helped us land our dream home below the asking price. Throughout the process, Travis remained responsive, professional, and patient, making what could have been a stressful journey feel smooth and even enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better advocate or experience!

The first agents I was assigned did not work out as they were rushing me and they wanted me to over bid $10,000 on list price on properties that had been listed over 90days. My next agent Kristen was fantastic. She listened to me and got my list of houses together to view. She was an amazing negotiator and I came out on top!! She kept on top of everything and made this go through so smoothly!!

This is the second time we worked with our realtor, Oscar Miranda. Oscar worked hard on our behalf and gave us recommendations for services we would need after the sale. He applied himself to go the extra distance in research the background of the houses and the area, as well as offering additional listings for our consideration. We consider Oscar to be our friend, not only our realtor.

Ainsley was very professional yet friendly. She was knowledgeable and informed regarding the real estate field. She gave great advice while allowing room for us to make the final decision. She was always accessible whenever we needed to contact her. She made the process of searching for a new home less stressful because she focused on what we were looking for in a home.

Jayme, our realtor, was another incredible asset throughout the process. She regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and kept the selling agent on track every step of the way. Jeff Smart was the best. He was there anytime we needed him. He was amazing with scheduling showing. Marathon showing is what we did. It was great, be ause we lived an hour and a half away we didnt want to make multiple trips.
