Veterans United was EXCEPTIONALLY wonderful. However, I would REALLY caution the loan officers to scold and scrub the realtors they recommend to ANY Service Members will, before they “assign” or recommend the realtor to us. The Realtor I was recommended was employed under Keller Williams Realty and was horrible. For my family and I, 95 percent of the process was inconveniencing and upsetting. Granted, I do thank Donald Cole for allowing my family and I to work with him, and setting us up with D.R. Horton and our new home, however. His level of communication was NOT where or what it needed to be. He only contacted me IF he needed something, and would respond periodically to messages I’d send him. I called him TWICE and there was no answer. Specifically, the first time he didn’t return my call until 3-4 days later. The second call he NEVER called back even after I left him a voicemail (I followed up with him 8 days later and he said he didn’t get either). Highly doubt that. My family and I feel like he didn’t earn a SINGLE PENNY of his commission or earnings from the entire sale. For him it was EASY money, because all he felt he had to do was put us in contact with the builder and that’s it. He did NO LEG WORK, left it to the sales rep to virtually show my family and I around the community 5-7 days after we submitted the request. As a Service Member, I wouldn’t recommend ANY realtor Veterans United recommends to us because of the poor effort Donald Cole provided. To me, tat represents any other realtor Veterans United has to offer. Lastly, the sales rep and the builder took my family and I through LOOP around and around because they gave us color options to pick from. 1 week from closing we get a call saying our color selection wasn’t available and was on back order for 8 weeks. 8 weeks?! My family and I picked the colors on January 25, 2021. Where was the miscommunication?! The miscommunication was the fact that the sales rep put the wrong color on the change request, and didn’t even accept responsibility for his failure, and where does Donald play a role? No where. He should’ve been AND IS, the link between the buyer, sales rep, and builder. IF Donald had did his job, this wouldn’t have ever happened. We are happy with our new home, but the realtor experience was a nightmare.

She was more concerned about her reputation and the sale then she was es urging we were comfortable with the purchase. And with many trust issues occurring, she did not even show up to closing! No o e we had been in contact was at closing! All new people! The last minute replacement did not know about our files! Do not recommend using this agent ever again!!!

Really left me with a bad taste in my mouth of the entire first home buying experience. Not qualified. Not intuitive. Poor communication skills. Not much industry insight. Not proactive. No claim to responsibility. Not recommended.

I really enjoyed working with Jace and Brian. She was very welcoming, open and honest. Any questions or concerns I had I almost always got a response almost instantly and whenever I wanted to go look at a house she was instantly on top of it and we were off. It took a few viewings for me to find the one I liked and once I did, things took off very fast and everything went smoothly. I enjoyed having her as my realtor a lot, again, I didn’t feel like I was being rushed into this purchase and that I was able to take my time to make sure it was the right one for me.

Susan was incredible in a location that was almost impossible to buy in. She showed every house whenever we asked and constantly looked for something because the marker was so hot. She found us one of the best deals I’ve seen in the entire city and fought for us to get the price and placement we wanted. Even after closing she is still making sure we are taken care of.

LaTanya Wright is a seasoned real estate agent who has made it easy for us to navigate the difficult market in Los Angeles. LaTanya knows how to make a deal and helped us find our home surprisingly quickly. We recommend LaTanya to others looking to purchase with Veterans United because she is able to convince sellers that it is good to work with VA-backed home buyers.

Kellie went above and beyond!! She was very thorough and understanding as we had her going from one home to another, which amounted to many properties. We have used her in the past regarding the first home we purchased in MO. I hope VU appreciates what a wonderful asset she is.
