Jason was an absolute highlight in this process. From day one he provided good information, he went above and beyond to coach me and my wife through every step of the home buying process, and then really pushed us to consider different options that ended up being exactly what we wanted. I cannot stress how prompt, active, and supportive Jason and Tawnya were to my wife and I. I truly can't recommend them enough, and want to provide a few examples of where they truly stood out. The first time my wife and I put down an offer for a house, Jason spent 4 hours of his Saturday talking us through every single paragraph of a formal offer. Every single time I messaged Jason or Tawnya, I received a reply within 12 hours. My wife and I couldn't make it to the island, so Jason spent hours on facetime showing us property after property and honestly telling us details that we absolutely would have missed due to our inexperience. If a home had poor caulking, bad floorboards, water damage and the like, Jason would find it and show it to us even if that made us uninterested in the property. When our seller kept trying to change or not fulfill our closing contract, Jason stood up for us and was able to protect us. Even when the seller forgot a crucial step in the closing process and our closing date appeared like it would be pushed back a month, Jason stayed on the case, used a personal connection to get the problem solved quickly, and was able to largely mitigate the delay. I cannot stress just how hard Jason worked for us, and I truly appreciate the recommendation from Veteran's United.
