Melanie is a great agent. I only give her a 7 because of the close call with the 1st home I almost bought being a complete nightmare which as a agent should have been a bit more fourth coming and honest. If the cake isn’t good, don’t encourage it. But everything else with her was really great.

Honestly blew it at the end. I was alone for the closing and taken complete advantage by the title agency, who is owned by the seller/builder. Was not given any truthful explanation to the process as to AVOID using DHI and to use my own attorney so I would not be charged extra. Sat outside the title office for 2 hours in the heat before being let in, sat in a conference room for 6 hours alone, and all the while being told the title agent couldn’t “balance” the disclosure which I had already signed with Veterans United.
