Experience with the real estate agent started out good. I called her to represent me when I found a property on my own. Unfortunately the relationship between she and I deteriorated after the seller randomly raise the price of the house by $24,000. It didn't appear to me that the real estate agent worked in my best interests. She seemed disconnected and just served as a mouthpiece for the seller. One instance was toward the end of the process when the loan specialist asked the real estate agent for a valid reason why the seller raised the price of the property by $24,000, the real estate agent regurgitated what the seller said and didn't appear to ask any more questions. This was my first experience building/buying a home and I expected more from my real estate agent.

So I explained this to Eric Johnson and Brittany miller. Veterans United is decent helpful and when We had questions they were answered not always in a timely manner but for the most part good about it. But the biggest issue was the realtor picked. On 3/4x in this process I called Erick to complain about on point reality. On point reality, was horrendous April the owner was our realtor and she made the home buying process so bad for us we hated it. Before I continue let me tell you I told Erick and Britney that I will not recommend soldiers nor their families to veterans United as long as You do business with OnPoint Realty. the reason for this is because our realtor April was in it for herself, she was only worried about getting paid when we found a home and gave her our due diligence of $5000 we could no longer get a hold of her. after that I would have to call Veterans United Home Loans to tell them to call my realtor to call me. And after a week and a half of radio silence she would get ahold of us like she didn’t just ignore us for a week and a half. You guys need to cut ties with her and her business. Brittany miller explained how much she really appreciated what my family and I do and explained that’s how everyone that works for you guys feels. With that being true on point reality does not show that same value. The home had multiple issues that our realtor new about but was not going to tell us. for example the HVAC was out and April was trying to rush us to close without having a home inspection, she came the day prior when we told her we were having one to try and fix some of the things inside the home. I honestly believe the worst part about all of this was April did not tell us that the realtor working for the seller was also an on point reality realtor. I brought that point up on one of the final walk throughs cause we had a couple. But It was brought to her and she just said “yes” like it was no big deal and her payday was already secured. AGAIN. I will not be recommending soldiers nor their families to veterans United long as you guys do business with OnPoint realty.

The real estate agent demanded I not sell my home on contingency, and she would need 45 days after I was under contract to find and close on a new home, and then made little or no effort to find a home for me. She emailed six properties for me to look at. All six were already under contract! I found several on line to maybe look at. One had just returned to the market. She knew nothing about it and I had to provide the MLS # to her. That how I learned what an MLS was. My nightmare began.
Her 45 days passed and I was among the ranks of the many homeless veterans. I was fortunate to have enough equity to carry me through. Someone should inform her that the idea is to help vets find a home, not to make them homeless.

Our real estate agent, Cindy was simply amazing to work with. As a prior real estate agent, I can certainly appreciate the time she took and her ability to help us along the way. Her her schedule is extremely flexible and work with us every step of the way. I will also be using Cindy for on my own purchases moving forward.

My wife has already stated that should the time comes that we decide to sell this house we purchased that she is going to call Andrew before anyone else. He has been one amazing asset to have on our side this last couple months. I don't think we would be so happy with the way things turned out without him.

Kathy dropped everything and immediately rescheduled her appointments to meet my very tight time line and schedule. She responded quickly to any questions I had, and ensured all paperwork was completed n a timely manner. She quickly stepped in and addressed issues as needed with third parties for my benefit.

Debbie was phenomenal. She took us to see every house we wanted to see as soon as possible. She is very knowledgeable about the area and it felt like we were her only clients whenever we needed something. We always felt like a priority and she did a great job with the contracts/communication.

Earnie was ready to go every time I was… which was every day. After hours and weekends, Earnie kept pulling off hours and fulfilling outlier requests till we found the home that worked best for me. I definitely owe this guy dinner.

Denise always answered my texts no matter how late I might have texted her. She explained things I was unfamiliar with and was able to help me better understand the process.

I can’t say enough on how understanding and amazing Aness was with us. She worked through us having a lot of differing views and viewing up to 30 different homes
