Our real estate agent, KImberly Sylvester-Stuart was great to work with. She is a go-getter and has a no nonsense mentality. She’s also not afraid to speak her mind which both my wife and I respected.

This a tough one to rate. I really am thankful for her during the searching process. The issues came in regards to home inspections. I was under the impression it was part of the process not just the VA appraiser inspection. The end result was (is) having to purchase a new heat pump on the same day we closed. Even though the seller agreed to fix as we found this during on of our walkthroughs, it was only temporarily repaired. On June 27, it was communicated that the sellers dad is a HVAC specialists, he went over and checked everything and he said the capacitor was going out and there replacing it and will have everything in good working condition. The was not the case as the sellers dad was not the one looking at it, they contacted a local company.Later during the week of closing we were told the heat pump was repaired and had a receipt so if anything were to go wrong it would be covered under warranty. They wanted us to have that but everything was in GOOD working condition. We had to call to contractors that first weekend just to be able to prep our house to move, neither could repair the heatpump and stated the unit would need to be replaced. The joys of moving into a house quickly eroded, it was bad communication and did not always feel represented well during this process. I don't think our realtor purposefully miscommunicated but shelling out 10k the first weekend doesn't set well. I do feel the seller does not have integrity and did the minimum to get the sale. The end of the day, the seller and agents got their checks and we got a bill.We are happy to be in the house, and we will have a new heat pump for many years to come.

Adam did great. We had a rough time getting a house due to a sellers market where most houses seem to be going 30k over asking. I found Adam to be knowledgeable of the area and of his trade. We put in quite a few offers and Adam never hesitated to put in as many offers as we wanted to. He was always accessible, friendly and willing to help.

David and Szana were outstanding. This was my first time buying a home and they made me completely at ease. Someone was always in contact with me and I never felt alone throughout the process. I will definitely be recommending VU to all my family and friends.

Aimee went above and beyond as our agent. She made tremendous efforts to find a home fit for our family and also guide us through the process as first time home buyers. Her knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm put our minds at ease throughout our journey.
