Jeff was ready and available. The seller was not cooperating with us and I feel that that’s why it took longer than expected.

He was pretty good about showing properties. I do not think he was very professional with his emails to Veterans United loan officer and team.

I felt at times like I was hunting homes down on my own. She talked to me as if I knew nothing about the home buying experience rather than speaking to me as an adult who is fully able to comprehend things at times. Communication wasn’t always where it should have been but she got it done for me!

Oh my goodness. We were referred to her when we told Veterans United that we wanted to be in the Weatherford, OK area. She did and would not put a list together for us so that we could go and look at houses. We had to come up with our own list even though we told her what we were looking for and where we wanted to be. She did show us some places all in town, some on our list and others not.We made an offer on a house and it did not work out, and we were okay with that. We said that we really wanted a place out of town with property. She said she would look but never came back with anything. I texted multiple times to arrange places to look at and she was always busy. She told us she has a regular job in addition to the realtor job she has and that we would only be able to look at houses on certain days and only later in the evening.
I got back on realtor by myself and started looking for what we wanted because Alexis never did tell me what company she was with and that she would send me a list of what she thought we weren't might like.
When I finally found something I told Alexis what I wanted to look at and we looked at things maybe an hour from her house but she was not willing to go any further than that we told her that we found something in Holdenville OK and she said that she was not willing to drive that far it was too far for her but if she still wanted us to be her realtor then she could go ahead and continue to do so. The house that we found in Holdenville Alexis never did show us the house and told us she would get a friend to do it for her. We ended up finding a local agent to take us out to the property out there and that person did not even work for veterans united so we could not use her as a realtor. We did tell Alexis that we did go look at the house and she was a bit shocked wondering how we were able to do that without somebody that she knew to show it to us. We never did tell her who it was that had shown us the house because the friend that she was trying to arrange to show us the house never followed through never called us never did anything and we didn't want to miss on this out on this house so we asked somebody else to show us.We told Alexis that we really wanted to make an offer on this house she said that she would not be willing to drive there she told that to us multiple times um and still never did actually go out and see it. She did tell us that she would put an offer in on the House and would let us know how that goes. We gave her an offer she came back up with I believe it was the accepted offer and then we started going forward with our information. Everything was done electronically she never did send us any paperwork in the mail didn't fax us anything everything was done on the computer if I did not sign it right away or have my husband sign paperwork right away she got really irritated with us but anytime that we asked her for the information she would not respond to us. We would call her leave her multiple messages would text her leave her multiple messages rarely would she actually call us back and most of the time when she did text us she said that she was busy and she'd have to look at stuff later. This is yet another person that should not be working for veterans united somebody that works with veterans I realized that you were not part of the federal entity of veterans but if you're going to represent veterans and help them buy a house then you need to be on their side and be OK with helping them with everything that needs to be done.
when it came time for the inspection of the house we went out to the property and met with the inspector we were told by our realtor Alexis that she would not be going she felt like if she was to go she would just be in the way and she did not want to drive the two-plus hours to get there just for the inspection. It was very difficult to communicate with her because she was either working at her other job whatever that was she was at the hospital with her very sick daughter or she was off doing something else. Most of the times that we did hear from her it was late in the evening after she had a minute to sit down I guess and it was very vague information or no additional information at all. From the inspection we asked our realtor to have things fixed we were told after we had sent our list to her to sign that that's the things that we wanted to have fixed. And she told us that all of the things were going to be fixed. Come to find out the septic tank was not serviced and it was not pumped they told us that it didn't need to be pumped and it up had red X in it so it was down far enough that we didn't need to worry about it. This was a major thing to us because we wanted to have a septic tank that was completely empty so that we could start a brand new with our own stuff. We asked about the solar panels nothing was really said about those. We asked about the septic flowfield we never got that information until the day that we were signing and we still don't know where that is. We asked about the well got very vague information on the well were told that it was not connected and she didn't have any additional information on it.
When we asked about our property lines, Alexis literally took a picture or print out from Google to show us where our property lines were. There was nothing that she gave us that actually showed us where our property lines were for our actual property. There were other things on our list from the inspection including a couple of windows that needed to be replaced we have been to the house now that we've closed on it and you can tell that the windows were never replaced. There is also a cap that was to be put on the fireplace we never got a notification that that was done. And there was a conduit outside on one of the poles on the electric poles that were supposed to be fixed and not also was not fixed. Our realtor has never once been to the property I want to make sure that you understand that she never once actually walked on the property from the first day that we talked to her about it to the inspection two checking up on the inspection to talking to the other realtor to our closing date never not once did she ever visit the property. The most that she did for us was make a few phone calls and thought that that was legitimate enough to get a $7000 Commission. We were very frustrated with Alexis multiple times and probably shared that information with her more than once. She told us we were not allowed to talk to her a certain way and that she didn't find that that was acceptable behavior. But we had been given so much vague information that we really did not know what was going on and what was transpiring but no one else to talk to about it except for clay and clay would blame it on Alexis and Alexis would blame it on Clay.As far as I'm concerned and my husband is concerned Alexis did not deserve to have the Commission because she did not do anything for us. She was rude and inconsiderate and again should not ever work for a veterans company if she does not know how to communicate with veterans. There are many veterans that come back from the military that had been overseas that had been in combat that deal with the symptoms of PTSD that have all kinds of other things mentally and physically wrong with them and she did not take that into consideration when she was speaking with my husband or speaking with myself.I don't know who these people are that you have hired for your company, but I really feel like they need to be reevaluated because they should not be working there. The only person that helped us and went above and beyond was Lacey. She was able to get us our abstract money back she was able to get some other money back she was able to lower interest rate she was able to communicate very well with us was always kind and really knew what she was talking about and always took every one of our phone calls and emails.
On the day of closing, Alexis walked into the building did not really acknowledge us my husband did not even know who she was because he had only seen her one time before when she showed us a house in Weatherford. She had a gentleman with her she did not introduce him to us and he came in the room when we signed. We had no clue he who he was or why he was there.
Shortly after we had left, and we had signed paperwork Alexis did text me which was quite surprising and she said “I hope you guys enjoy the house if you need anything just let me know! That was written to us at 5:53 PM almost four hours from the time that we had signed which was at 2:00 o'clock that afternoon. We felt like there was no possible way that we could ever get in contact with anybody but Alexis when it came to talking to somebody about a realtor we did mention multiple times with clay that we were having a ton of difficulties with Alexis and he didn't really care and said "I'm sorry that's happening to you but that's the way it goes. If there's ever a possibility of talking to somebody that's above Alexis I'd be willing to tell them everything that she did not do and that she does not and should not have ever gotten a $7000 Commission check yes we are aware of the Commission check was because of the information that was provided on our closing.
If this is how she's going to treat every veteran I promise you veterans united will not be somebody that anybody is going to want to work with because I will definitely make sure that I don't refer anybody to you guys and I will definitely refer nobody to Alexis because I think that being a realtor is secondary for her and she would rather do nothing and go nowhere than to actually bend over backwards for people to help them. Yes we have expressed to her our discontent we also expressed to clay are discontent and both of them really didn't care and pretty much told us to live with it. Up until the very last day of the closing we had communicated with clay that we really did not want Alexis to even show up at the closing and continue to be our realtor because we didn't feel like that she should get paid um for what she did. I realized that I the spouse am not a certified realtor but I did way more than what Alexis ever did and so did my husband the veteran. We were told on the last day that there was no possible way to fire Alexis so I'm guessing that would have applied the entire time and Clayton tell us that to the very end and we were told that we could not fire her because we had a contract with her but if she's not doing what she's supposed to be doing to me that would validate a contract to be dismissed.
Again I want to reiterate that every realtor that we had um when we were working with Realtors in Louisiana different parts of Texas and then when he came up to Oklahoma nobody was willing to get us a list nobody was willing to show us the houses that we had put on our paperwork and they really acted like we were supposed to have all the information and we were supposed to have all of our crap together so that they could bring in the money. I don't know if this is Realtors that are signing up for your company so that they can establish new clients or what the deal is but these people are crap and you really need to evaluate who you have on your list of who these potential people are to help veterans out because they're all very crappy. If you do have any questions come in in addition to everything that I've shared with you I really do not mind talking to somebody over the phone and you are 100% welcome to call me. I am the spouse of Edward Harrington who was a veteran of 10 years of the army who's served his country willingly when others will not. Has never been treated fully fairly and that also applied in this situation. My name is Rachel Harrington and you can get ahold of me if you'd like at 971-344-5226. There's so much more to say about this individual and the other experiences that we've gone through that have frustrated us beyond everything we do appreciate the deal that we got we do appreciate that our interest rate was lower we do appreciate the money that we got back but I do think that you really need to look at who you have hired for specific positions and get him replaced or give them some kind of training where they can talk to veterans better.

Our real estate agent Mark Perry from Homesmart handled our transaction very poorly. He failed to get us into house showings in a timely manner. He did not take our time into consideration or upcoming deadlines and waited last minute to fill out or transfer important documents between all parties. We purchased a home from a for sale by owner and I feel that he did not take our transactions professionally by procrastinating to complete certain tasks in a timely and courteous manner. He fails to keep both the seller and I updated in the transaction process. I had to consistently keep in contact with him to prompt certain inspections and document requests directly from the lender. At one point I had to go directly to the escrow company to retrieve Important contract information for the lender. The rest of the closing process I kept in contact with the seller, escrow company and the lending team to avoid any delays for the closing. The closing company EscrowSmart helped fill the many gaps created by our realtor.

His communication was horrible and made my first home buying experience terrible. Very condescending and rushed me through the process like he didn’t want to be bothered.

Tricia was the backbone of our efforts in finding our dream home in this market. She was very patient, kind, and respectful throughout the entire process. I must’ve had a thousand questions through this process and she answered them all without error. Tricia also stopped at nothing to show us homes no matter how last minute the request might have been. Even though she had many clients she was working with while working with us, she made it feel like all of her attention was on us.... that’s a great feeling when you’re making this kind of purchase in this current market! Can’t say enough good things about Tricia, 10 out of 10 & highly recommend!

Brook Wiggins was understanding from the beginning. She gave plenty of advice about homes she knew our wants and needs and found the right home for us. We are first time homebuyers and she explained the details of the process estimates of time and finances so that we were ready. If we are still in the same area in the future she will definitely be the one I contact to sell or help find another home!

Amir was an outstanding agent! He matched our intensity in buying a home and was sure to make me and my wife informed buyers, making our first home buying experience seem old hat. His contacts and knowledge of the market allowed us to narrow in on what we wanted and culminated with us closing in a 30 day escrow period. He was professional, and a pleasure to work with throughout this entire process

Sherry Martin is the Best! Over 110 Home reviews, 40+ viewings, and six (6) unaccepted offers and Sherry kept us positive and keyed into the craziness of the market at the time. Every time we talked to her, it was like the first showing with a big warm smile and “will-do” attitude. We would not have been as successful without her!

Sandra was a pleasure to work with. Very personable and was available to answer questions at practically any reasonable hour. She was able to work well with our needs even though we were out of state and couldn't be there in person for most of the process. We would absolutely recommend her to friends or family.

Our agents, both selling and buying were awesome. The kept in touch with us to make sure everything stayed on track. They kept in touch with each other and the loan officer to make sure the transition from sell our house in Nevada to buying our new house in Indiana went smoothly.

Kurt was on top of the new home listings. I enjoy working with him. He found me a home that needed some updating in a area that I wanted to be. And in two months I will have the updates completed, and could sell and make money. But I am here forever.
