Due to Covid and how it affected the inventory, it was a very competitive market.

I never met him. However, we talk on the phone a few times

Colin was personable, but forgot about the thin line between that and being unprofessional. My husband and I did not feel as though he was looking out for our best interest. Had we not made an offer on our house we closed on, we were going to request a change of realtors. Multiple documents were sent to us with errors that we identified. Inappropriate jokes about asking for his commission check and telling us how much VU’s referral fee were also made. The aftermath of closing was atrocious. BLUF, he said he would pay for a professional deep clean. What occurred was anything but. He also failed to provide all of the receipts from the inspection objections which caused a storm of its own. It wasn’t until we met with the Seller’s agent about this that we learned a myriad of truths. Also, Colin refused to cover the cost of a proper cleaning when requested. Ultimately, Colin is a nice person, but not a realtor I would ever use again or refer someone to.

She missed 2 of 3 walkthroughs and wasn't much help at all. Constantly promising me things and never delivering..I felt all she cared about was closing to get her check.

I was referred to Ms. Karen Crockett as my real estate agent, and I’m also thankful for this.Ms. Karen stuck by me throughout the entire process, never leaving me with unanswered questions or a lack of information. As a first time buyer, many parts of the process (due dilligence/ earnest money, VA appraisal, etc.) had to be explained to me, and she helped simplify things down for me.Additionally, Karen was amazing in the sense that she, too, went beyond her duties as a real estate agent to also care about me as an individual. I had several medical issues occur throughout the home buying process, and she checked in with me to see how I was doing quite often, which has positively impacted me.I’m so thankful to have worked with Karen and wouldn’t have it any other way!
