I knew more about the properties we were viewing and we felt like we were crowded when trying to look at houses. He told us that the appraisal was basically as good as an inspection which we now realize is not accurate and we would have liked to have one. A real-estate agent should be able to accurately and honestly guide you through the process and I dont feel like that is what we got. He assured us many times at the final walk through that the home and property would be cleaned before closing (less than 24 hours away) and did not tell us we could come back to check. These things never happened, leaving us with scrap metal and junk including a large barrel/ drum of some kind of used oil we have to deal with and the house had not been cleaned at all.. Ideally a buyer's agent, who is supposed to represent our interests and take care of us, would have made sure these things were done before the final walk-through and or would have let us know that we could come back the next day before closing to ensure they were done. One house we looked at had a clear and evidence significant foundation problem, which is of course an absolute no-go. When we pointed out that we were concerned about the foundation the agent was like oh that's something you can have looked at in an inspection. What? Lol. Why would I pay for an inspection and make an offer on the house that so clearly has a significant issue. Again, the buyer's agent's job is to take care of the buyer you think something like an obvious Foundation issue is something an agent would red flag to the buyer. In addition to not going with Veterans United ever again, if we were to sell this house and look for another we would choose a different agent. He wasn't bad, but we didn't feel advocated for or properly informed. His assistant Alyssa was great and we were much more comfortable with her. If she every becomes and agent we would gladly work with her.

TODD TODD TODD! I CAN SCREAM IT FRON THE MOUNTAINS! This Guy is truly amazing! He worked tirelessly for me. I was still in another state selling my house and Todd was sending me videos of the houses I wanted and more! He literally went around all Atlanta and back for me. He never steered me wrong and always gave very Honest feedback. I truly couldn't have done any of this without him. I initially had another real estate agent and she was absolutely horrible. Then God blessed me with Todd! He's the most kindest and hardest real estate agent working out here. He drove to all the homes I was interested in and always tried to help me. I was assigned Bobby Tate shortly after my House financing journey had already started due to an unforeseen personal issue with my previous VA assigned agent. I was so impressed with Bobby, he was able to pick up and continue to assist me with my house search. I told Bobby about the areas of interest which was unlimited, my likes and dislikes, and my deal breakers. Bobby sent me lots of house listings to my liking and we began going out viewing houses and the rest is history.

In my eyes, Dee Matera from Lux reality is a real estate god . She is extremely competent at what she does. It is great when someone is always there for you even when you have a million questions and ask the same ones over and over haha .
