This being our first experience buying a home we had more expectations with how it would go. We felt like we had to do most of the work when looking for houses rather than him having showing for us. Also his team was a little slow to answer questions or emails.

There's a lot to be said here. I don't hold VU responsible for my agent but it was bush league. This was my 5th home purchase and definitely the strangest. My realtor Henry was absolutely professional but he only was available to look at homes one time. He sent his associate, Taskeen the next few times and it wasn't a pleasant experience. He was 35 minutes late to a showing and I was forced to wait outside a gated community until he showed. The seller was furious because we were late and she had just put her baby to sleep and had to round up her dog and kids to let us see the condo. Taskeen then told her were both sorry for being late. I was not late. Taskeen was dressed in jeans and had his family in his beat-up car. The entire episode was embarrassing. This set a bad tone with the seller going forward and it may explain the contentious relationship with them for the entire process. The first time my realtor actually saw my condo was during the final walkthrough and the seller hadn't even moved out yet. They left me with so much junk, it cost me $300 to have removed. My realtor Henry assured me it was clean while I was at the title company because he got photos from the seller. I don't think I'd ever use them as a realtor service again.

Dan was great in the beginning but communication became sparse as time went on. At the end of the day, he got the job done but we often had to wait days for a response to a direct question and often had to ask several times.

Lisa was awesome! My wife and I always like arriving early to our appointments and to see that she beat us to the punch was an amazing first impression! She is super responsible and on top of EVERYTHING! She always took initiative with handling our application for the VA loan and always kept us updated. She is super professional and highly experienced. She also has an amazing eye to catch defects on your walk throughs in homes! We loved how upfront and honest she was regardless she was! Lisa was an amazing agent and she home selling statistics speak louder than her amazing reviews!
