I am a very sentimental person, I am cautious, I am the planner and I take my time to notice the meaning in pretty much every aspect of life. I look for lessons, learning opportunities and those moments where everything falls into place, so it took many years to figure out exactly what I wanted in my first home. It took my husband 5 hours. 5 hours on the market and the second house we looked at and there it was, our Ultima Thule right there in front of us, we didn't know how to react, until Eric said the words, "Are you ready to make an offer?" We weren't even sure what the offer should be. All those years researching, planning and preparing and suddenly it all comes down to this moment...and so it began. The team at Veterans United gave us the nudge, confidence, and technology to become first time homebuyers and Eric kept his cool and guided us through the ups and downs, while also celebrating his anniversary and moving into his new home, he never once made us feel like we were a bother. There were times when it seemed like our deal was falling apart and every time it seemed grim, Eric was able to take ownership of the circumstances and find solutions. Ultimately it was his patience and perseverance that allowed the success of our closing. We knew what we wanted but Eric knew how to get it done.
