Ryan Slack was very good at tracking down homes that fit our criteria. He pointed out things with some homes that would be an issue. Our struggle was that we were doing all this remotely, as we were living in Virginia and preparing to do a work relocation to Mesa, Arizona area. We weren't able to personally view homes with Ryan and he did find us a house that we are coming to enjoy very much. Moving in, there were, unfortunately several things that were overlooked such as the pump to the pool was on it's last leg and when my husband went to turn it off, as it had been set by sellers (I assume) to run 24hrs a day. Luckily we caught that by maybe the 2nd or 3rd day and so my husband went to reset it but when he did that, it wouldn't restart. We had to have a professional come out and we were told the pump was broken. There are some wiring issues in one room we were aware of but didn't realize how that one little thing could disrupt the room that we made into our living room. We didn't have a key that worked for our mailbox that is a locked mailbox so I had to go to the post office to see if they could re-key it for us, only to be told they didn't own it so we had to hire a locksmith. So on and so on. These things, I believe were outside of Ryan's purview and therefore, I don't believe he is to blame at all. We were just looking for a house to just move in to and set up house. Ryan was very personable, reliable and available. This house, despite some of the difficulties we've encountered is 99% of everything we asked for. Thank you Ryan.

Charlene is the consummate professional. As a personality trait, I ask many questions; she bore the brunt of *even more* questions, because this was my first experience. The sheer number of challenges our team faced was unimaginable by typical first-time homebuyers' experience; Charlene was ever the source of encouragement. She made certain to answer every request for information, no matter how detailed or unsophisticated it was. Her levels of communication, follow-through, and can-do attitude are surely peerless.

Veterans United referred a real estate agent that knows Veteran's benefits/loans. It was nice to have someone who knows and understands the VA home buying process because he was also a Veteran himself.
