I would not recommend Brandon Jenkins as a realtor. My wife and I do not feel as though our realtor had OUR best interests in mind. He was not firm in representation of us and almost allowed the purchase to fall through. General lack of professionalism.

I remember her commenting after the sale..."I'm not really good at contacting the buyer after the sale...so congratulations now." Slightly paraphrased but still accurate. Just left a bad last impression.She did send some properties for us to look and she did some paperwork. She did show some properties too. Time after time though, houses in our price range would pop up, on the real estate apps we were using, only to be "pending" the very next day. We found the property we ended up buying without her. I just feel some of her commission should go to Zillow and Realtor.com.

Alex was nice and helped us through the home process during COVID-19 (when we were unable to travel to view the homes). She answered all of our questions about the home and helped us to get a clear picture of everything virtually, which was very helpful.However, it seemed like there were a few instances were we weren't 100% confident we got the full picture. We were only told someone had occupied the house after we noticed something off in a photo (despite the home being listed by the same realty company), we weren't able to get the square footage of the home or room dimensions until after closing, and sometimes it felt like conversations occurred with the loan and title companies that we weren't aware of until later after we asked probing questions. This might be common, but as first-time home buyers we didn't know what to expect and felt a little in the dark.

My real estate agent was Rebecca Logan of the THE LOGAN HOME GROUP of Keller Williams Realty Centre. She is a pro with VA Home Loans and she guided me through me home search process. She is honest and straight forward if there was something wrong with a property I was interested in. During the offer process, she made sure I didn't sign up for anything that I could not financially manage, but also making sure that my offer was palatable as possible. When my offer was finally accepted, she also helped with the inspections and documents that the underwriter required. She even had my place deep cleaned and paid for a one year home warranty.
