She was friendly and polite at all times but like many agents I have dealt with in the past generally knew very little about the properties and sometimes recommended properties that didn't meet my needs.I realize that agents tend to live in their own little world but it turns out that both myself and the seller wanted contact with each other. They had furniture they wanted to sell, we wanted to buy some of the furniture and neither realtor wanted us talking to each other. Neither of us were looking to change the conditions or terms of the agreed upon contract, nor otherwise interfere with the process of the sale. When I pushed the selling agent about contact, (I was at the point of driving down and knocking on the door), she put us in touch by email and we were able to visit. Learned a lot about the property and unique features, the neighborhood, etc. We became friends and had there been no contact between us the delays in closing would likely have been a problem that could have soured the deal. The agent was satisfactory.

I’m going to be completely honest in our opinion of our realtor rather than just being nice, which is what we tend to do, due to the anxiety we experienced throughout our home buying process with him. I felt my agent was working for the seller rather than me and our family. We made an offer on another home initially, which he advised some pretty outrageous terms. Since we knew this was a sellers market, we took his advice. While waiting for the offer to be accepted/rejected, my husband and I discussed the recommendations he proposed and the offer we made. We came to to decision to withdraw our offer even after it was accepted. We preferred to lose all the money we put into the purchase after we determined the house would probably not appraise for the amount we were going to pay for it. In fact, we felt it would appraise several thousand dollars less. When we made the offer on the home we eventually purchased, he was appalled and said he didn’t feel the offer was strong enough because we offered asking price with only a 3% escalation. He said he wasn’t confident we would get the house since it was not a very strong offer. It was at this point that he completely lost interest and became very scarce. He was difficult to reach with questions or concerns regarding the second home we were attempting to purchase. When the inspector came back with the results of his inspection and we wanted the seller to address some of the issues, our realtor didn’t want us to ask them to do anything. In fact, because he did not relate information to us that the seller’s agent had requested, the sale was one day away from being withdrawn by the seller as per the seller’s agent. We informed him the seller’s agent asked us to remind him that he needed to return a letter to her. It was only then that he brought it to our attention that the seller requested we sign an agreement to purchase the home if she agreed to a few of our requests (the letter the seller asked us to tell him to send to her). The walk through FaceTime that he provided was very hard to follow and he left rooms off the tour. Videos and photos were all I had to go on to determine if this was the house for our family, not to mention that he smacked his gum throughout the videos and every discussion which was very distracting and unprofessional.
I didn’t feel he was interested in our needs at all once he had made the sale. Prior to the closing, he projected an image that he couldn’t be bothered with our needs. If we had been unable to speak with his assistant, we would have cancelled the entire process and looked elsewhere for another company. We only found out that we could speak to his assistant two weeks before closing. We looked to him for advice and guidance during this process and we didn’t get it. His only advice was to offer considerably more than the asking price and refuse to have any identified problems brought to then sellers attention. The only reason I didn’t score him a 1 is because he did come out on a Sunday to meet with my husband to review a plumbing issue that was identified in the inspectors report. Communication with him was like pulling teeth, he just didn’t want to participate. He was very slow to return phone calls or even reply to texts, and on several occasions his response to complicated questions was merely one word. In fact, my husband and I reached out to others for answers and when he finally did respond, not only did we have the correct answer, but his answer was incorrect and irrelevant. There are many other examples of why we felt he was unconcerned and disinterested in our business but I’m not sure there is enough space on this form to include them. All in all, we will never do business with him again and obviously we will not refer anyone. In fact, if we know anyone who may be using his services, we will advise against it at all costs.

AWESOME! We hit it off from day one. And, that very day he showed the home I now own. Joe is not just a realtor. He is someone, who genuinely cares about getting you into the right home, and a Great Guy. He will bend over backwards and do flips for you. He's just that kind of person. The guy helped pay my closing costs with his very own money and text me while on vacation to let me know I was on Record. Who does that? Joe does! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
PS. Joe is now my Go-To Guy, when it comes to future ventures in real estate.

Sara is truly a selfless professional. Understanding the dynamics of this seller's market, she moved swiftly and efficiently to ensure we had a competitive edge. From early morning to late evening hours, Sara's willingness to show us many homes at times most opportune for my family demonstrated how dedicated she was in helping us become first-time home owners. Here's the reality: Sara did not only help us achieve our dream of owning a home, she actually led us to our dream home. Sara will forever hold a place in my family's heart!

Katie was always on her game looking at multiple houses a day for my husband and I. We were buying from a different state but that didn’t phase Katie at all! She know what we wanted and found just that! She was easy to work and communicate with. She was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I found the right home!

We had a few misunderstandings but once they were cleared up it was a good experience.

They can get you in touch with good people, or you can go with your own. Our guy turned out to be really good and he helped us a lot. In particular with va loan he was highly proficient so in any home that we looked at about that aspect of the loan process. Much of the search really is easy to do on-line and much of the contract/documents are via e-sign. He was really efficient and the resources are up-to-date.

Jeff must have virtually shown me more than a dozen homes. I even retracted an offer, and he didn’t blink an eye - just rolled with the change. Very knowledgeable in the area I was looking at, and I appreciated his insight on the many differences in where I was coming from to a more rural environment with major variations in utilities and septic/water systems.

Victoria Copeland was a very straight-forward and professional individual who ensured that we found a perfect first home. Any roadblocks that we ran into, she had no issue navigating us through.

Michele and Michael were the best! They made sure that we were completely satisfied. Every time they showed us a house they were friendly and knowledgeable about all the properties.

Lisa and Hansy were great. Responsive, flexible - and led me to the right property. (And helped reassure me approaching the closing date.)
