Jeff was very patient with me and my family changing our criteria every other day. He gave his opinions and with his experience was spot on.

Alysha was just as amazing as the Veterans United team. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a house in the Kingsland area.

I never met my realtor in person. We talked and texted but he had another relator show me houses. I honestly don’t feel like I got the best price for my house and as for a first time home buyer I don’t feel like I was guided throughout the whole process or properly informed. Being able to look into someone’s eyes and shake their hand means a lot to me.

She was not very attentive to my needs. I got the feeling that I was making a lot of the phone calls and advocacy that she should have been making on my behalf. The communication between Vets United, The new home builder, the title company, and myself was severely lacking towards closing. I was receiving little to no updates in the 2-4 weeks prior to close and felt like any information I was receiving, I was having to be the one to reach out to get it. Especially considering there was a pending land use/title issue at hand. (Fire truck turnaround easement filed with the city.) I feel like a lot of the miscommunication was due to an inattentive real estate agent. In the beginning, once I received the initial referral from Vets United, her first email to me stated that her lowest starting price was $550k, which was already out of my price range. So the entire time I felt like I was a low priority; small potatoes. While looking for a place, I told her what I was looking for and I felt like she didn't look herself at all for what I wanted, or even cared to take my input. She simply set me up with automatic updates from the RMLS database within my price range, and basically said let me know when you find something you like. Set it and forget it. So eventually, I found a place with my criteria and reached out to the builder myself, not found through the RMLS.She didn't show up for the final walk-through inspection; instead she sent her assistant without any notice. She also didn't show up to the closing, without any notice, even though we met and spoke about it the day before. She asked me on several occasions to send her copies of the documents I was receiving from the other entities or asked me to call and reach out to them. I feel like that should have been the reverse. I felt like the entire time, she was out of the loop. The only service she set up for me, was the home inspection, which was great and very beneficial. But in retrospect, I feel as though I could have set up myself.Note to self: when buying a new house directly from a builder, you don't need a real estate agent.Albeit, she was very professional and very nice. Always answered the phone when I called and was easy to get ahold of, just wish the effort extended both ways. I will not be recommending her to anyone and will not be using her services in the future.
