Neither my husband now I felt Matthew was great help to us. It really felt that the moment we were under contract he was very unwilling or reluctant to help us out and get us information. He wasn’t personable at all, didn’t really get to know us or make the home buying process as exciting as it should be, especially as a first time homebuyer. Overall, I didn’t feel he was very professional and it often felt he was just hoping to do the bare minimum, which was very unfortunate. This really just made it frustrating since my husband and I are not from the area and are currently living in another state. We don’t know the home but I no process or Texas like he does annd really hoped he would’ve been more helpful in those areas and advocated better for us. We really were relying on the insights and knowledge of someone from the area. There were times his answers to us and our requests were simply a screenshot between him and the sellers agent and didn’t always thoroughly address our concerns or requests. It didn’t feel he had our best interest in mind. Overall, our real estate agent is the only part of our experience with Veteran’s United we were unhappy with. The rest of the team was fantastic.
