Once the home selection was complete we heard nothing from the real estate agent. They did not help with the contract either.

My agent was Lori Hilliard with Berkshire Hathaway HomeService in Slippery Rock, PA. Lori was incredible! She is very knowledgeable of the entire VA loan process.I sent her lists of houses I was interested in, and she took the time to make comments on all of them to help me narrow down my targeted houses. I really appreciated how she just didn't say something wouldn't pass the VA inspection, but she took the time to explain why it wouldn't. This knowledge helped me weed out other listings I saw later.We had to have three visits by VA appraiser before the home finally passed the required repairs. Lori rolled up her sleeves and personally helped to make a couple of the repairs to make sure the home would pass for the final VA reinspection.This is an agent I would highly recommend for other veterans in the area who are pursuing a VA loan through Veteran's United. She will put in the work to make sure the deal closes.
