Melvin seemed very scrambled during the entirety of the process. He ran late to pretty much every appointment we had set with him. He didn’t remember key details about our contract (not remembering we gave the current homeowners a month of occupancy after closing). He failed to schedule a final walkthrough and did not realize it until we had already began our hour commute to the new house. This was after he moved back the time by 15 minutes due to having too many showings earlier in the day. When we expressed interest in the house he let us know that there were currently no offers on the house. That being said, he advised us to offer full asking price with an escalation clause up to 15k over asking. We went against his advice and offered 15k below asking and it was accepted within 24 hours. Lastly, and not the biggest deal in the world, but he continuously asked us the same personal questions which gave the sense that we were just numbers to him. I won’t be using Melvin again when selling/buying my next house.

Janet is a great realtor. She’s experienced, extremely efficient, went above and beyond to understand where we were coming from and getting us to where we wanted to be!! Besides that, she gave us house warming gifts that were yummy and—warming!! So glad she was our agent.
